C It Now Case Study: Land Rover Conwy

Conwy Land Rover is part of Rybrook Holdings, one of the UK’s largest privately owned new and used car dealer groups in the UK, with a number of individual dealerships representing most of the major specialist and luxury franchises. Located in North Wales, Conwy Land Rover is ideally situated to cover a wide area of the North West of England and North Wales. The company specialises in both
new and used Land Rovers and Range Rovers.

 

The Challenge

Over the last few years, the staff at Land Rover Conwy noticed how customers have changed how they enquired about their stock. Less people were walking into the dealership in the hope of finding the car they were after, but it was clear to the sales team that they were receiving more and more email and phone enquiries about specific cars that the customers had viewed on the website.  The challenge was to provide these email and phone enquirers with a sufficient amount of information to persuade them to buy the car - even without them viewing it.

The Solution

Jason Ashley, the DP for Land Rover Conwy decided to deploy the C It Now system 12 months ago, having experienced the success of the system for a short time at his previous dealership, Jaguar in Warrington. C It Now has been developed to help dealers significantly increase the percentage of sales made each week from email and telephone enquiries. The C It Now system, either the Recorder or the Live version, enables the potential customer to view the car from the comfort of their own home. Conversion rates average 50% from video to sale.

 

The Results:

53% Conversion and Delighted Customers!

In 12 months, Conwy have sold 53 cars as a result of C It Now. One customer who is exceptionally impressed with the C It Now System is Paddy Coppinger from Hungerford. Paddy wanted to buy a used Land Rover. After doing a Google search, Paddy came across the Conwy website where he found a car that matched his spec. His initial reaction was that Conwy was too far to travel to view a car. However, Jason and his team sent Paddy a personalised video of the
car which bowled him over – see his comments on the right!
