Last week was an interesting one. On the one hand we had children truly delighted by a decent snowfall for once. On the other, the resultant surprise holiday and schools being lambasted for closing so readily by exasperated parents who were unimpressed by a few inches of snow.
By Friday, most of the fun was over. It was nearly back to normal except of course at T.G.I.Friday's in Bristol. What a great way to end the week after all that excitement and disruption. Unfortunately, they still had a hangover from Thursday!
But I love the sign - 'apologies for any convenience caused'. Thanks.
But then it snows a lot in Bristol.
